Tucked away in the very heart of Lucca’s historic centre, Fresco Puccini is a modern and elegant open-plan apartment set in the very place where the Maestro himself once dined and played. A unique and charming space where art, history, and comfort come together for an unforgettable stay. Fresco Puccini is a beautifully renovated open-plan apartment where every detail has been carefully designed to offer guests a stay that is as authentic as it is comfortable. Bright, stylish and inviting, this elegant space is much more than just a holiday apartment — it’s part of the living history of Giacomo Puccini. In fact, this is where the great composer would often come after lunch, following his meals at the historic trattoria Buci located on the ground floor (now a bookshop), to relax and play the piano. The very floor where Puccini once played is now home to this refined and cozy loft. The apartment features a double bed, sofa bed, fully equipped kitchenette, modern bathroom with shower, air conditioning, a smart TV, and ultra-fast fibre WiFi. Every comfort is provided to ensure a relaxing and memorable stay. What truly sets Casa Puccini apart are the little touches: the original wooden beams, vintage opera posters on the walls, and the beautiful Liberty-style decoration that frames the window by the bed. Leaning out, you’ll feel like a nobleman from another era, overlooking the medieval lane below. A laundry area with washing machine and sink makes this home especially convenient for longer visits or business stays. Guests enter from nearby Corte Pini, a hidden and peaceful courtyard home to Lucca’s only surviving wooden bas-relief — a tiny treasure carved into the city’s ancient walls. Self-check-in is easy and secure via a code provided after booking confirmation. Please note that Lucca’s entire historical centre is a limited traffic zone (ZTL), and private vehicles are not allowed to enter. Surveillance cameras monitor the area, so we kindly advise guests not to drive into the city centre to avoid fines. The closest car park is Ex Manifattura Tabacchi (500 m). Piazza Cittadella (700 m) is another nearby option, or you can find free parking outside the city walls. telefono messaggi text or call Casa Puccini is located in Chiasso Barletti, known as Lucca’s last medieval alley and its narrowest street. Despite its quiet and picturesque charm, everything you need is just steps away: cafés, shops, newsstands, and small grocery stores — as well as all of Lucca’s most iconic landmarks. History lovers will also appreciate that it was right here in Chiasso Barletti, in 56 BC, that Julius Caesar, Pompey and Crassus met to renew the First Triumvirate, granting Caesar another five years of command in Gaul. More than two millennia later, this unique corner of Lucca still retains its spellbinding atmosphere.
